Tips for Creating Scenario-based Instruction

Scenario-based instruction is a design technique that allows the participant to apply their knowledge to a realistic situation, make a decision on a problem presented, and reflect on the consequences of their actions.  This session will provide you with the basic components necessary for creating or enhancing scenario-based activities into your curriculum. 

In this session you will learn to:

• Create scenarios that include the 5 critical elements for design
• Build interview questions that will get your SMEs to tell the right story
• Avoid the 2 most common mistakes when creating scenarios

Throughout the webinar we will provide examples of how scenario-based learning is used in both elearning and instructor-led formats.  After attending you will walk away with resources and a plan for integrating scenario-based learning into your courses.
