Planning season is underway and we wanted to make sure you have the Society of Insurance Trainers & Educators (SITE) Annual Conference on your calendar for 2012. Our meeting will be June 24-27, 2012 in Washington DC at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner Hotel. The exhibit hall will be open on June 24th & 25th for exhibiting.
If you have never exhibited at SITE, this is an excellent opportunity for you to meet with clients and important new prospects, attend informative presentations and see what is new in our industry. If you have exhibited in prior years, you already know what a great conference this is.
Our traditional Conference Activities to promote your interaction with attendees will include:
- 99 Seconds Activity for you to creatively start a buzz for your booth
- Opening Reception for the Conference in the Exhibit Hall
- Various activities to encourage attendees to meet all vendors
- Full page ad in the Solution Providers Guide
- Additional opportunities for visibility through our sponsorship program
Here are some of the new ideas we have decided upon:
- More quality time with attendees
- Strategically placed entertainment and food stations so that all booths have an even playing field
- Attractive theme-based decorations to entice attendees to visit with you.
An Important Notice:
Exhibitor fees have not changed in the past 4 years, but unfortunately our Exhibit Hall costs have increased; security, set up company charges, room fees. Of course we are aware that vendor costs have also gone up - booths, transportation, marketing, etc. and we want to continue to make your investment pay off dividends.

Of course we are aware that vendor costs have also gone up - booths, transportation, marketing, etc. and we want to continue to make your investment pay off dividends.
To help offset our increased expense, we are taking the following actions:
- Registration for Exhibitors will be $1,000 for SITE members and $1,300 for non-members if registered before 4/1/12.
- Registration prices increase to $1,200 for SITE members and $1,500 for non-members after 4/1/12.
- Additional Exhibitor Staff can register as full attendees (includes sessions) or Exhibitor Guests (no sessions) - all booth personnel must be registered for admittance into the Exhibit Hall
Exhibitors will be accommodated on a first come/first serve basis. Only 30 vendor spaces are available, so act now to reserve your booth. The last few years we have sold out of exhibit space, so act now to make sure you are not shut out.
Our theme this year is: "Mission: Possible". So plan accordingly to coordinate your booth with the other activities having that focus.
SITE remains committed to providing access for our vendor partners to our membership. The Annual Conference is an important way for you to reach them and demonstrate your support of their professional association.
